The applicants who are seeking to get admission in the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the Indian state of Gujarat have to clear the entrance test that is conducted by the Directorate of Employment (DET) and Training (DET), the Government of Gujarat.
There are several private and government-run ITI centers in Gujarat; they hold a variety of courses under which the pupils are given training on the technical aspects of engineering and non-engineering trades.
However, an important point to note is that the varied courses have different eligibility criteria. In turn, the students must apply for the respective courses only after studying the eligibility norms and then, apply accordingly. Some ITI programs in Gujarat require the aspirants to have passed their 10th standard or 12th standard from a recognized school board, depending on the courses that they are interested in. Also, they must be over 14 years of age to be considered eligible.

As part of the application process of the ITI entrance examinations, the applicants can apply online on the official website. The application form can be submitted online after entering the required information. Also, the application fee has to be paid as per the available payment modes. Thereafter, the users must click on the ‘Submit’ button. The aspirants must, also, take a printout of the application form for their records.
Following the application process and after the given deadline, the authorities will issue admit cards or hall tickets that are downloadable on the official site upon entering the required details. The admit cards have to be produced on the date of the examination when requested by the ITI authorities.
Post the exam, the answer key is displayed on the official website. The aspirants can avail the option of downloading the answer keys. By doing so, they can match their answers and calculate their scores. If there is a discrepancy, they can approach the authorities.
Also, the exam results will be released, as per the schedule, on the official website. Then, the successful candidates have to attend the counseling sessions where they have to carry their original documents for verification purposes. Depending on the candidates’ scores in the qualifying exams, choice of colleges, and overall performance, they are allotted colleges for pursuing the chosen ITI courses.
