The competent authority that oversees the admission process in the Rajasthan-based Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) is the Department of Technical Education (DTE). All the details pertaining to the application procedure is listed on the official website, hteapp.hte.rajasthan.gov.in/iti_admission.
In Rajasthan, there are several ITI courses that are conducted at the various allotted ITI colleges. Both engineering and non-engineering trades come under the ambit of ITI courses. As part of the ITI programs, the students are imparted technical knowledge of the chosen trades.
However, the eligibility norms of the varied courses are different. Thus, the applicants must make a note of the eligibility norms while applying or they can be disqualified and also, will lose their application fee money.
The candidates have to be over 14 years of age to apply for the ITI programs in Rajasthan. Also, depending on the course that they are applying for, they must have cleared their 8th, 10th, or 12th standard exams to become eligible. Keep in mind that before the expiry of the given deadline for the applications, the applicants must do the needful.
The candidates have to apply on the official website, http://hteapp.hte.rajasthan.gov.in/iti_admission/. Here, they have to apply online by filling the required fields in the online application form. Also, the application fee has to be tendered. Moreover, they must take a printout of the filled online application form and save for reference purposes.
Following the stipulated deadline of the applications, the ITI authorities will draw a merit list that is based on the scores of the candidates. The names of the candidates who appear in the merit list are invited for counseling sessions where their original documents of the candidates are verified. Then, the overall profile and choice of colleges pertaining to the candidates are considered by the ITI committee, after which the college allotment letters are issued to the aspirants.
On the given date and time, the candidates must visit the respective ITI college for completing the rest of the admission procedure. Henceforth, they can attend the classes for which they have signed up.
