The aspirants who are seeking admission in the Industrial Training Institutes in the state of Tamil Nadu in India have to visit the official website, skilltraining.tn.gov.in/DET/. The governing body, the Directorate of Employment & Training, Tamil Nadu, is responsible for conducting the admission process in India’s Tamil Nadu.
The several ITI centers throughout India offer courses in engineering and non-engineering trades. As part of these programs, technical education pertaining to the varied trades is given to the applicants. Upon completion of the courses, they can work on the different trades to earn their livelihood.
However, the varied ITI courses have different eligibility criteria, the details of which are viewable on the official website. Only after studying the eligibility norms, the candidates must apply and accordingly. Also, to gain admissions in the ITI colleges, the aspirants must apply before the given deadline.
To apply for the ITI courses in Tamil Nadu, the applicants have to fill the online application form that is available on the official website. Also, they must tender the application fee and upload the required documents, if any.
The ITI authorities will screen the candidates’ applications after the given deadline. Also, they will prepare the merit list after taking into account the scores of the candidates in the qualifying exams. The merit list will be exhibited on the official website. Consequently, the successful applicants will be invited for counseling rounds.
During the counseling sessions, the original documents of the candidates are verified. Also, the applicants have to fill in their choice of colleges.
The ITI committee will, then, issue the allotment letters to the candidates. At the respective ITI centers, the allotment letters have to be produced. Additionally, the rest of the paperwork has to be completed. After securing a seat, the applicants can attend the courses.
