Super 30 JEE entrance

Super 30 is an educational program that operates under the banner of ‘Ramanujan School of Mathematics’ and from Patna city in India’s Bihar state. As part of this program, 30 meritorious aspirants are chosen from impoverished sections of society. And they receive free lodging, coaching, and food while they are trained to appear for the engineering entrance exams that are the JEE Main and JEE Advanced ones.

All the same, the Super 30 training period is for 1 year where the pupils receive training for developing their skills while getting prepared for India’s most premier higher educational institutions that are the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). In recent times, the program has managed to develop a large number of IITians who come from poor backgrounds.

Anand Kumar spearheads the Super 30 program. He is a genius in Mathematics and formed a Mathematics Club, the Ramanujam School of Mathematics in the year 1992, during his graduating years.

Additionally, he started a Mathematics training program under the guidance of Devi Prasad Verma who was heading the Department of Mathematics at Patna Science College. Anybody who loved the Mathematics subject was free to join the program. Moreover, over the years, Anand submitted several papers on Mathematics to a bevy of newspapers, magazines, and journals.

Then, in the year 1994, there was an opportunity for him to pursue higher education at Cambridge University but could not avail the opportunity due to financial constraints. Thus, he decided to help people from poor sections of society. In the process, he reinvented the ‘Ramanujam School of Mathematics’. Here, he provided coaching to some students for competitive exams and charged a nominal fee.

Later on, with the help of his brother Pranav Kumar, who is a violinist, he set up the Super 30 program. The year 2003 marks the commencement of the Super 30 project. And over the years, the students of the program have been successful in gaining admissions in the IITs. The program boasts of imparting quality training in an open setting. The objective is to help the pupils to deliver to the best of their ability.

Anand Kumar’s contribution has gained recognition across the world. He believes that talent is everywhere and only there is need to spot the same. He provides the talented students an opportunity to develop their skills and realize their aspirations of becoming technocrats.

Super 30: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility norms for availing the Super 30 program are the same of the JEE entrance exams. Likewise, the aspirants have to pass their Class 10+2 exams, while securing minimum 75% marks. However, for the SC/ST classes, they have to score 65% or above in the qualifying exam.

More so, for the Super 30 program, the aspiring candidates should be from impoverished backgrounds.
