by The year of establishment of the co-educational College of Vocational Studies (CVS) is 1972. CVS serves as one of the constituent colleges of the prestigious University of Delhi. Over the years, this educational institution has been serving the vocational and educational needs of the youth population of India. Also, the College strives to narrow the gap between convectional vocational studies and the dynamic socio-economic environment via the College of Vocational Studies. Courses
Along with vocational training programs, the College offers a range of Honours Courses in diverse fields.
Under vocational courses in BA programs, the students have a choice between streams such as Materials Management, Management & Marketing of Insurance, Marketing Management & Retail Business, Office Management & Secretarial Practice, Tourism Management, Human Resources Management, and Small & Medium Enterprises.
The College, also, conducts Honours courses in fields such as Computer Science, Business Economics, History, Economics, and Commerce.
For admission in the College courses, the Department of Business Economics of the University of Delhi conducts an entrance test as part of the screening process.
Also, the College runs two certificate programs: German language and French language.
Amenities
The CVS campus spans 10 acres of land and is equipped with a host of facilities. These include auditoriums, internet connections, sports arenas, medical aid, laboratories, computer centers, among others. Also, the College library is well-equipped with an extensive collection of journals, books, and periodicals.
Along with academics, the pupils have opportunities to take part in several extra-curricular activities as well. As such, the College hosts various programs (including social, cultural, and academic ones) while seeking the students’ active participation.
