The NCVT MIS ITI 1st Semester exam results are declared by the governing body, the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). To check the results, you have to visit NCVT MIS’s official website ncvtmis.gov.in or the particular state’s ITI portal. On the results page of the site, enter your roll number and subsequently, select 1st Semester from the drop-down menu.

Every year, during the months of February and July / August, across 36 locations in India, NCVT holds exams for the 4 semesters.

Several students enroll in the ITI courses each year. For both engineering and non-engineering trades, the ITI programs are conducted. Also, the applicants have a series of ITI courses to choose from. However, the eligibility norms for the varied courses is different; hence, the students must apply only if they are eligible for the particular courses.

In India, the Industrial Training Institutes or ITIs are considered as post-secondary schools. These centers provide vocational training to the aspirants and have been instituted by the Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGET), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the Government of India. Under the Craftsmen Scheme that was introduced in the year 1950, the DGET constituted these training centers for those students who are interested in gaining technical expertise, rather than continuing with conventional studies.

Moreover, the courses include a 1-year Apprenticeship Training and then, the candidates have to appear for the All India Trade Test (AITT). Only after successfully clearing the ITI programs, they are conferred with the National Trade Certificate (NTC). Thereafter, they can look for jobs in the ITI fields that they have specialized in.
