NIELIT CCC Plus Admission, Course, Grade, Exam Result

The Course on Computer Concepts Plus (CCC Plus) is an IT certification course that is managed by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT). The NIELIT functions under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India. Previously, the NIELIT was referred to as the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC). The DOEACC was formed in the year 1990 as a result of a partnership deal between DIT and AICTE.

The objective of the CCC Plus is to provide aspirants who are entering the government sector with the necessary skill set to help them cope with the latest changes in a dynamic IT scenario.

The program aims towards skill development in employees, students, and mid-level professionals. Also, the course reskills individuals in technology-related developments. As such, they develop office automation skills and become familiar with updated technologies and e-Gov applications.

Also, the financial literacy module of the course helps the students gain understanding of the workings of different financial services and government-based schemes.

The duration of the CCC Plus is 126 hours. On a full-time basis, the individuals should devote 6 hours for 21 days for attending classroom courses. And if enrolling for part-time basis, then they have to spare 3 hours per day for 42 days.

CCC Plus: Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have passed the 10th standard exams from a recognized board are eligible to apply for the program.

CCC Plus: How to Apply?

The aspirants who are interested in applying for the CCC plus should submit online applications. They have to go through the following process.

  • Visit the official website and register by selecting the ‘Apply Online’ link that is seen on the home page
  • Select the CCC plus from the list of ‘IT Literacy Programme’ group
  • Download the Online Examination Application Form
  • Enter details including the contact, personal and educational qualification ones
  • Upload scanned copies of documents like passport-sized photo, signature specimen, and left-thumb impression
  • Note Unique Application Number that comes on the screen
  • Follow by tendering the Application Fee through the varied payment modes – including Card Payment / Online Banking
  • Take a printout of the Application Form
  • Sign in to their accounts after receiving their login details via contact number and email ID
  • For logging in, click on the ‘New User? (Registered Candidates)’ link
  • Go through the given instructions on the ‘My Dashboard’ page
  • Update profile details as requested by the system
  • Next, select the ‘Lock Profile’ option
  • Select the checkbox on the ‘Declaration Page’
  • Review their applications and make any changes (if needed)
  • Select the ‘Final Submit’ option

CCC Plus: Examination

The exams for CCC Plus are held during the first weekend of every month. To know about the detailed schedule, the aspirants should visit the official website. Also, they have to download the Exam form, provide the requisite information, and follow by submitting their applications.

CCC Plus: Exam Result

Post the NIELIT authorities declaring the CCC Plus results, the pupils can check their results online via the official website. On the site, they have to select the ‘View Result’ option that is seen on the right side of the home page. The next step is to select the ‘CCC Plus’ from the list of ‘IT Literacy Programmes. ’More so, they should enter details such as roll number, name, date of birth, and exam details (such as name and year).

The subsequent step is to click on the ‘View’ tab, after which their results are shown on the screen. The students must, also, make sure to take a print copy of their examination results for their records.

CCC Plus: Grade Structure

The CCC plus exam results contain the grades that the candidate has scored. The result sheet does not have marks printed. Though, the results are declared based on the marks secured by the candidates. And the marks are, then, converted into grades.

The candidates have to score minimum 50% marks to pass the course and receive the certificate.

‘F’ Grade: less than 50%

‘D’ Grade: from 50%-54%

‘C’ Grade: from 55-64%

‘B’ Grade: from 65-74%

‘A’ Grade: from 75-84%

‘S’ Grade: 85% and above

CCC Plus: Certificate

The candidates who qualify the CCC Plus exam are eligible to receive certificates. They can get their CCC Plus certificate via online mode.

To download their certificates, they must follow the below steps.

  • Browse the website, http://nielit.gov.in/certificate/
  • Authenticate the certificate details
  • Proceed by furnishing the required information and click on the ‘Submit’ tab
  • The next step is to verify the code that they receive via email or SMS
  • Validate the digital signature
  • Follow by downloading the certificate via Adobe Reader and Internet Explorer
  • Maintain a copy of the PDF file for later reference
