Chhattisgarh Polytechnic Exam Result 2023

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) manages the admission procedure of the professional diploma courses in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. The CGPEB is also known as CG Vyapam. The body conducts the Chhattisgarh Pre-Polytechnic Test (CG PPT) that is held at the state level for admitting the aspiring candidates to the Chhattisgarh Polytechnic Institutes. CG PPT Application Form

The exam authorities accept applications only in online mode, during the months March to April. Hence, to apply, the aspirants have to register on the official website. Thereafter, they get their login credentials. The next step is to sign into the accounts to download and fill the online application form.

Moreover, they are required to upload the necessary educational documents, along with a scanned image of their passport-sized photo and signature - in the instructed format.

The candidate should, also, note down their application number and have a printout of their filled application form. Besides, they are to tender the application fee, as part of submitting their applications.

CG PPT Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility norms of the entrance examination are given below.

Domicile: Having a Domicile Certificate of the Chhattisgarh state is a requisite.

Qualifying Examination: Pass the 10th standard exams from duly recognized educational Boards.

Qualifying Marks: The applicants have to secure minimum 35% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.

Subjects: The candidates should have Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

CG PPT Admit Card

During the month of April, the Admit cards are downloadable from the official website. Here, they have to enter some basic details for the Admit Card to be exhibited on the screen. Subsequently, the candidate should download the cards, take a printout, and check if all the details are correct. They must, also, affix a photograph on their respective admit cards.

The admit card is needed at the exam hall for verification purposes, thus the applicant has to carry them along when going to the exam hall.

CG PPT Exam Pattern

The entrance exam consists of 150 questions that are multiple-choice ones. In offline mode, the examination is conducted and the candidates have 3 hours to answer the given questions. For every correct answer, the applicant scores 1 mark while there are no negative marks for the incorrect ones.

There are 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section is of 50 marks.

CG PPT Syllabus

The CG PPT is set as per the the 10th standard syllabus - with the inclusion of subjects such as Maths, Chemistry, and Physics.

CG PPT Result

In June, the exam results are accessible on the official website. Upon entering their respective Roll Number, the applicants can check and download their results.

Additionally, the Answer Key is posted on the website after 1 week following the exam, for the candidates to compare their answers. The Merit List is uploaded by the authorities, alongside the candidates’ exam results as well. The Merit List has details of the applicants’ ranks, based on which the seats are allotted.

CG PPT Counseling

The counseling sessions ensue in online mode. In counseling, the applicants have to furnish their preferences of institutes and streams that is part of the choice-filling process. The authorities, then, carry out the allotment of seats.

During June, the online counseling rounds are scheduled. As per the applicants’ preferences and their ranks and availability of seats, the authorities allocate the seats to the aspirants. Also, the candidates have to bring along their original documents because the authorities will verify the same for their authenticity.

The final step in the admission procedure requires the aspirants to complete any pending admission formalities at the allotted College.
