Chanakya National Law University
Chanakya National Law University or CNLU is an autonomous law school located in Patna, the capital of Bihar. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Bihar as a public university dedicated to the field of legal education in the country. Number of retired judges of Supreme Court, High Court and lower judiciary along with senior advocates and educationists are among assisting in teaching and research programs to the students providing them a rare and exciting experience to students. CNLU offers various courses such as B.A L.L.B (Hons.), BBA L.L.B (Hons.) along with various research degree programs like LL.D, Ph.D, D.Phill etc for its aspirants.
Aspirants of law courses need to clear the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) which is an all India level entrance examination conducting or rotation by 17 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission to various Under-graduate and post graduate level law programs. The candidates are selected on the basis of merit cum preference to each university for admission as per eligibility.
