Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu, Arabi~Farsi University is a State Government University which is situated in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This University is named after the great Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti of Ajmer. Earlier this University was called Shri Kanshiramji Urdu, Arabi-Farsi University and the first academic session of the University started from August 2013 with 413 students.

The main objective of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu, Arabi-Farsi University is to encourage the growth of Urdu, Arabic and Persian languages and also a better understanding of its culture. The other mission of this University is to pass on better education and training in vocational and technical subjects so that the students are trained enough for job-oriented courses. Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu, Arabi-Farsi University is also involved in signing Memorandum of Understanding with Indira Gandhi National Open University and Al- Mustafa International University, Iran and NCPUL, New Delhi and Tata Consultancy Services which is exclusively meant for promoting vocational courses.
