Students appearing for the SHP Institute 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th semester exams must visit the official site to view/download their respective results.
The Shillong Polytechnic Institute organizes exams for its different semesters twice per year. The SHP Institute Odd (1st, 3rd, and 5th) semester exams are held in November/December whereas the results for the same are released in February/March. Likewise, the Shillong Polytechnic Institute conducts the Even (2nd, 4th, and 6th) semester examination during March/April whereas their results are declared during June/July.
The SHP Institute conducts a host of courses in various streams. The Institute accepts applications for Diploma courses in the fields of Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

Among others, the student’s name, qualifying status, date of birth, hall ticket number, and subject-wise distribution of marks is mentioned therein. - You then have to search the website home page for the “Student Cell” tab and tap on the “Results” tab from the drop-down menu
- The system, subsequently, directs you to a new page displaying a list of results
- Go on to click the relevant semester exam result link, after which you can view the SHP Institute semester exam result on the screen
- As always, keep a print copy of the SHP Institute semester exam scorecard for later reference
