The University of Mumbai which is earlier known as University of Bombay is one of the oldest and premier universities of India which was established in 1857. It was amongst the first three universities established in India. The university was accorded 5 star status in 2001 and “A” Grade in April 2012 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has been granted University with Potential for Excellence (UPE) status by UGC and PURSE scheme by DST. The University of Mumbai is one of the largest universities in the world with a record number of students 5, 49, 432 was enrolled in the year 2011. The University of Mumbai offers Bachelor, Master, Doctoral, diploma and certificate courses in many disciplines. The language of instruction for most of these courses is English. It has three campuses across the city at Kalina Campus, Thane Sub Campus and Fort Campus. The university also offers Distance and Open learning and thus offer various correspondence courses as well to impart education to the learners. The Mumbai University has a virtual classroom at its Kalina Campus and thus became the first university in the country to introduce this kind of facility. Mumbai University (MU), traceable to Mumbai city of the Maharashtra state of India, makes available the exam results of its affiliated academic programs on its official portal, https://mu.ac.in/. After appearing for the MU exams, students can access their examination results from its official website. It is also advisable to check the MU official web link regularly to know about the result declaration dates.
Once the MU examiners declare the exam results, you should visit the home page of its official web portal. Now, locate and then tap the “Examination” tab. The system will, thereafter, display a new page, where you have to tap the “Results” link. On the following page, a list of results appears on the screen. Only click on the relevant MU exam result link for your exam result to be displayed on the screen. Ensure to keep a print copy of your MU exam result for record purposes. Also, you have the option of applying for revaluation of your MU exam results before the stipulated deadline.
