The National Law School of India University came into existence through a notification under the National Law School of India University. Located in Bangalore, it is the culmination of efforts of the Judiciary, the Bar Council of India, the Karnataka Bar Council, the Bangalore University and the Government of Karnataka. The main aim of the university is to reform the legal education and establish a centre of excellence for legal education and research possibilities in the country. The Chief Justice of India is the Chancellor of the university while the Chairman, Bar Council of India is the Chairman of the General Council.

The first batch of students was selected through a National Entrance Test, and regular academic activities of the college began on 1st July 1988. Ever since the admission to the Law school has been on the basis of performance at a National Entrance Test which is known as Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT). The law school has undertaken many research projects which are funded by the UGC, the Government of India, Government of Karnataka, The Department of Women and Child Development etc.

It also offers various courses through its Distance Education Department which include Master’s Degree programmes in Business Laws, Post-Graduate diploma programmes in Human Rights, Environmental Law, Medical Law and Ethics etc. Admission to B.A.LLB (Hons.) degree programme is based on the merit list of the result of Common Las Admission Test and the total number of seats in this course is 80. The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), based in Bangalore in the Indian state of Karnataka, makes available the examination results of its affiliated programs on its official web link, https://www.nls.ac.in/. Candidates awaiting their NLSIU exam results are required to visit its official website to view/check their results.

Once the NLSIU examiners declare the exam results, you must go to the home page of its official portal. The subsequent step is to look for the “Examination” tab and select the “Result” tab from its drop-down menu. After this, the system is directed to a new page, where you should select the relevant result link. Follow by entering the requisite details and then click on the “Submit” button. That done, the system will showcase your exam result on the screen. It is mandatory to have a print copy of your NLSIU exam result for your records. Also, contact the NLSIU authorities if you notice any errors in your exam result for the necessary corrections.
