Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University is a State University dedicated for the development of music and arts. The University is established in 2008 at Gwalior in the Indian State of Madhya Pradesh. The creation of this University is a tribute to a bighearted and a lover of music and art loving ruler of Gwalior – Raja Mansingh Tomar (1486-1518). The King was an ardent lover and promoter of ancient Indian art and ancient classical music.
