Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University is a Public University established in 2014 at Hyderabad in the Indian State of Telangana. This University is named in tribute and remembrance of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji- a veteran freedom fighter and Telangana protagonist. This is the sole Horticulture University of the state and the fourth in the entire country. This University is a great importance to the state of Telangana since Horticulture is the chief source of income to the State economy and is regarded to be the biggest producer of fruits and vegetables.

Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University comprises of 2 horticulture colleges and 2 horticultural polytechnics. Moreover, the University has also set up 11 Research stations in various parts of Telangana depending upon location, specific research on production, protection, post harvest technology and important horticultural crops. In addition to this, there are 6 All India Coordinated Research Centers who are working on fruit crops like Mango, Guava, Grapes, Vegetables, Tuber and flower crops like Chrysanthemum, tuberose and gladiolus. All these are done just for the sake of uplifting the horticulture of the state as well as help the farmers to produce good yield of crops.
