The Board of Secondary Education in Assam is commonly known as SEBA is the state level authority in the state conducting examinations in the state. The Board of Secondary Education Assam came into existence on 14th March 1962 which supervises, regulate and develop secondary education in the state. Its main objective is to assure quality education imparted in schools within Assam that are affiliated to it. Every year in the month of February/March, SEBA conducts the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exams and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examinations.
This year almost 4,26,553 lakh students are registered for HSLC exams while 12,275 are registered for AHM examinations. The results are announced in the month of July 2021. The results of these examinations are available on ahsec.nic.in, resultassam.nic.in as well as seba.net.
