NVS CBT Admit Card 2022 Released

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) is held every year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The JNVST qualifies the successful candidates for admission in Class VI of the more than 660 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). The JNVs are public, co-educational, and residential schools; also, they bear affiliation to the CBSE.

The JNVs are a Government of India undertaking to provide value-added education to the youth population of India’s rural areas. In fact, the pupils can attend classes from Standard VI to XII in the JNVs; also, their education and accommodation expenses are borne by the Union Government of India for the 7 years.

The managing body of the JNVs is the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) that is an autonomous society having a base in New Delhi.

The JNVST includes multiple-choice type of questions. The students have 2 hours to answer the question paper that is of 100 marks. The JNVST has 3 sections that are regional language, mathematics, and mental ability ones.

The aspirants have to apply for the JNVST when they are in Class V and can make only 1 attempt. They can apply online via the official website that is www.navodaya.gov.in. As part of the application procedure, the aspiring candidates should download the online application form and fill in the required fields. They have to, also, submit the necessary documents along with the filled application form.

JNVST Admit Card

After receiving the applications, the authorities check the eligibility of the applicants. Subsequently, they upload the admit cards of the eligible candidates on the official website. The selected candidates have to browse the site for downloading their respective admit cards, after entering some basic details.

The admit cards become available prior to the exam date. The candidates have to carry their admit cards to the exam hall. The examining authorities check the admit cards in the exam hall to ascertain the candidate’s identity.
