Study Plan

The first step in exam preparation is to study the exam syllabus, following which the students must gather the required study material. Then, they should draft their study schedule while covering all subjects. Also, make sure that your time table contains details of the portion to be covered each day. Devote more time to the subjects you are weak in as compared to the easier ones. More importantly, keep breaks in between your studies for greater concentration levels.

Do not fear

Many students are fearful of exams; and as a result, they get stressed. However, you must take steps to reduce your stress levels. Try meditation and yoga for the same. Moreover, note that approximating your score is not in your control. Besides, parents are advised to not put undue pressure on their children; rather, they should boost their child’s confidence.

Never Cram

As a pupil, avoid cramming because if you do so, then remembering everything is not possible. Instead of cramming, you can draft notes. This helps to remember all points during revision.

Study place

Choose your place of study wisely and where you feel comfortable, relaxed and are able to focus on your studies. Head to a library early in the morning, if possible, for the tranquility of the surroundings is ideal for studying then.

Maintain your health

During your preparation period, you may ignore maintaining your health. Nonetheless, avoid doing so. All the same, eat nutritious foods while avoiding junk fare. Get the recommended 6-8 hours of sleep per night as well. Also, following a regular exercise regime has a host of benefits so consider following suit.

Study Time

Deciding your study time is an integral factor. As per research studies, humans are most active in the morning between 5 am and 8 am; and during the evening hours, between 7 pm and 11 pm. Hence, study during these times for maximum concentration.

Adopt Creative Learning Ways

For students who find any subject boring, they can apply creative ways of learning the various concepts. They can draw flashcards and revise them regularly. Or, they can have fun themes for remembering the basics of subjects.

Do not cheat in the exam hall

A good practice is to never cheat. Also, parents and teachers must refrain their children from cheating. Keep in mind that if you are caught cheating, there will be dire consequences for your future, thus never cheat in the exam hall. If you do not know an answer, then do not attempt them – be on the safer side.
