About Bihar Board

The Bihar School Examination board which is abbreviated as (BSEB) was established under the Bihar School Examination Board Act in 1952. As per the Act the Board was established for holding and conducting the examinations of both secondary and senior secondary examinations in both government as well as private schools of the state according to the syllabus prescribed by the state government. The headquarters of Bihar Board is located in the capital city of Patna.

Every year the Bihar School Examination Board conducts annual secondary school exams in the month of February/March and supplementary exams in the month of August/September on the basis of course or syllabus as prescribed by the state Government.
