DAV PG College, Gorakhpur

One of the leading educational institutions in the eastern part of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, the DAV PG College in Gorakhpur started operating from the academic year 1970-71 onwards. This College has the accreditation of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The Aryan Education Trust is the promoter of this pioneer College. Courses

The DAV PG College in Gorakhpur offers the following courses. For the Bachelor’s level programs (including BA, BCom, and BSc), the College invites applications from candidates who have passed their Class XII exams or equivalent ones. For admission to the Master’s level courses, aspirants should complete their graduation from a recognized board.

• Bachelor of Arts (BA): (3 years) (specializations in Economics, Sociology, English, Hindi, History, Sanskrit, Education) 
• Bachelor of Science (BSc): (3 years) (specializations in Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom): (3 years) 
• Master of Arts (MA): (2 years) (specializations in History, Political Science)

Admission Process

For gaining admissions to the BA and BSc courses that the DAV PG College conducts, the aspirants have to qualify the Joint Entrance Examination that the DDUGU convenes. Only the selected candidates can, then, follow the Admission procedure of the stipulated courses.

The Application Forms have to be collected from the College office and filled with the requisite information. Then, the completed application forms have to be submitted at the College counter. After submitting the filled application form and compulsory documents, they have to collect their Deposit Slip.
