by Traceable to Jhansi city in the Uttar Pradesh state of India, the Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College (MLBMC) started holding academic sessions from the year 1968 onwards. Offering a host of courses in the field of medicine, the MLBMC is affiliated to the Bundelkhand University. More so, this college was set up to cater to the medical needs of poor people around the Bundelkhand region.
This prestigious state-run medical college, also, has an attached hospital, where the pupils receive education and training in the chosen medical fields.
At the MLBMC, aspiring candidates can pursue a host of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree courses in medicine.

Courses
The undergraduate-level MBBS course runs for 4.5 years and includes a 1-year mandatory internship.
At the postgraduate-level, the MLBMC holds the 3-year MD, MS courses in different streams. Plus, the College convenes a host of Diploma programs in various specializations.
Eligibility Criteria
For admission in the MBBS course, the aspirant has to pass the 10+2 level exam, with a minimum score of 50% marks. Further, they must qualify the NEET-UG to seek admission.
Out of the total 150 seats for the MBBS course, the authorities reserve 15% of the seats via the All-India quota while the remaining 85% seats are allotted from the State quota.
However, to secure a seat for the PG programs, the aspirants should qualify the NEET-PG.
