by The mark list containing the names of the qualified candidates for both the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) has been made available by the Union Public Service Commission. The mark list is viewable on the UPSC official website, upsc.gov.in. Also, the final results of the exam were released by the UPSC on 14th December 2021.
The mark list has the names of 15 candidates who have been recommended for the IES and 11 applicants who have been recommended for the ISS.
For now, the results have been kept provisional. The UPSC will first verify the original documents of the candidates. Thereafter, they will clarify the provisional status of the candidates and issue the offer of appointment. The UPSC has mentioned that the provisionality of the applicants has a 3-month validity from the date of declaration of result.
The UPSC selected candidates for the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service as per their performance in the written exam that was conducted on 16th July and 18th July 2021. Also, the interviews were held from 29th November 2021 to 1st December 2021 were the basis of selecting the candidates.
