by The Government MJS College in the Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh was set up in the year 1956 by the Department of Higher Education of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. This Bhimpur Government College has affiliation to the Jiwaji University in the Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh.
At the onset, this college was offering only courses at undergraduate levels in the streams of Arts and Science. Over the years, the college started conducting courses in the Commerce field. Since, the year 1998, the College has also started providing courses at postgraduate levels.
Courses
The Government MJS College in Bhind conducts courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the three main streams of education: Science, Arts, and Commerce. In addition, the college offers the 3-year, undergraduate-level Bachelor of Law (LLB) program.
In the field of Arts, the College has provisions for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Arts (MA) courses. As part of the MA program, the college offers specializations in subjects such as Sociology, Hindi, Political Science, Military Science, Economics, English, History, and Geography.
Under the Science stream, the college provides courses such as the Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc).
Among courses in the Commerce field, the college conducts the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and Master of Commerce (MCom) programs. The different specializations under the MSc course are Zoology, Military Science, Chemistry, Botany, Maths, and Physics.
