Exam Book CCC

The study of computers has become essential in today’s times. This is because computers are used everywhere, with the inclusion of government organizations. Thus, with the objective of imparting knowledge of computers to the common man, the Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) was started by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELET).

Earlier, the NIELET was known as the DOEACC Society. The Union Government of India set up the Society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The NIELET proposes training programs in Information Technology at different levels.

The present book that is Arihant’s Study Guide CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) covers the different computer concepts. The book is beneficial when studying for varied recruitment exams such as the Railway Recruitment, SBI PO Clerk, IBS PO Clerk, LIC AAO ones. In fact, the book is based on the latest syllabus of NIELET.

The book has 8 chapters in all. These include chapters on Introduction to Computers, Spreadsheets, Introduction to GUI Based Operating System, Communication and Collaborations, Elements of Word Processing, WWW Web Browser, Applications of Digital Financial Services, and Making Small Presentations.

Other than that, there are sections that include Computer Glossary, Computer Abbreviations, and 5 Model Practice Sets. Moreover, each chapter has many solved problems that have been devised as per the previous years’ entrance and recruitment exams. Also, at the end of the book, there is computer glossary and abbreviations for helping the readers.

The book contains in depth synopsis that is complemented with diagrams and screenshots as well. Further, there are Chapter-wise True/False and Objective questions for helping the aspirants revise the different concepts that are discussed in the chapters.
