The year 2011 marks the establishment of the Government College in Bhabra in the Alirajpur district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Having affiliation with the Devi Ahilya University of Indore, the Bhabra Government college was set up to serve the educational needs of people living in the backward regions of the country.
At the college, aspirants can pursue courses in the fields of Arts, Science, and Commerce. The college has been conducting courses in the Arts and Commerce stream from the year 2011 onwards. Also, it started offering courses in the Science field in the year 2013.
The Government College in Bhabra offers 3-year, undergraduate-level courses in the Commerce (BCom), Science (BSc), and Arts (BA) streams. Under the Science faculty, the college offers specializations in Zoology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Botany.
The Government College in Bhabra is spread over 4 acres of land. Moreover, the college has a range of educational facilities to promote the overall development of the pupils. These include canteens, hostels, laboratories, sports grounds, auditoriums, and classrooms.
In addition, the college houses the Swami Vivekananda Career Counseling Cell for providing placements to the students. Further, the college library contains a large collection of books and other educational aids.
