by The year 1974 marks the establishment of the Satish Chandra College (SCC), traceable to Ballia in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Previously, the SCC had an affiliation with Universities including the Agra University and Gorakhpur University. The founders of the SCC are members of the LD Meston School Society. Also, the College has been named after the Late Satish Chand Giri who contributed to establishing the SCC at Ballia, a district in UP that was earlier deprived of higher educational institutions.
The SCC has provisions for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of Arts, Science, and Education.
