• He/she has to be a resident of the Tamil Nadu state of India
• The family income of the candidates does not have to be more than Rs 1 lakh
• The aspirant should be admitted to a Government-based, RTE-certified Tamil Nadu school
• Applicants between the age group of 3 years and 6.5 years are eligible to apply
• The family of the student has to be registered under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) section

The Tamil Nadu RTE School Education Department requires applicants to provide the following list of documents for admissions under the RTE quota for RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2023-24.

• A photograph (150 px X 175 px)

• Search the home page for the “Acts & Gos” tab and select the “Right To Education Act” link from the sub-menu.

• Subsequently, you must register by providing the requisite information.

The steps to apply for RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2024-25 are detailed below.

• Aspirants should first visit the RTE Tamil Nadu Admission portal, rte.tnschools.gov.in
• Now, click on the “RTE Online Admission Notification” link and proceed by entering your “Login ID” and “Password” and then selecting the “Login” tab.
• Now, you have to log in by inputting your “Login ID” and “Password”
• Thereafter, tap on the “Application Form” option; and after the application form appears on the screen, enter the required details.
• Also, upload the mandatory documents and pay the application fee.
• Continue by submitting your application and taking a print copy of your application form for record purposes.
