The admission process of the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh is conducted by the managing body, Rajya Vyavsayik Prashikshan Parishad. As part of the ITI programs, the students are given training on the technical aspects of the engineering and non-engineering trades.

The candidates have a variety of ITI courses to choose from. However, the eligibility norms of the varied programs are different. Thus, the aspirants must study the eligibility criteria prior to applying.

To become eligible for applying for the ITI courses in Uttar Pradesh, the applicants should have passed their 8th, 10th, or 12th standard examination (as per their choice of trade) from recognized school boards. Moreover, they have to be permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh and also, should be above the age of 14 years.

On the site, as part of the application process, the applicants need to enter the details in the required fields in the application form, pay the application fee, and upload the required documents. The aspirants must take a print copy of the submitted application form as well. Also, they must complete the needful within the given deadline.

After the ITI authorities have received the online application, they will prepare the merit list. The scores of the candidates in the qualifying exams are considered during the preparation of the merit list. As per the merit list, which is viewable on the official website on the stipulated dates, the candidates have to attend the counselling rounds.

During the counselling sessions, the original documents are verified. Also, the applicants are required to fill in their choice of colleges. The ITI authorities, subsequently, will take into consideration the overall profile of the candidates and the availability of seats at the various centres; and then, allot the seats in the respective ITI colleges. The applicants are given the allotment letters that have to be shown at the allotted colleges. Also, the rest of the application formalities have to be completed, after which the candidates can attend and start attending the classes.
