UPSC Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2020 Reserve List has been released on upsc.gov.in

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has made available the reserve list for the UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam 2020. Applicants who gave the Mains exam have to visit the UPSC official website, upsc.gov.in, to check their respective results.

The Civil Services Main examination result was announced on 24th September 2021. This list contained the names of 761 candidates who were recommended by way of merit against 836 vacancies for various appointments. These include IPS, IFS, IAS, and Central Services for both Group A and Group B.

Sources indicate that the Commission maintained a consolidated reserve list on a merit basis for the different categories. The Department of Personnel and Training received the 75 names of recommended candidates by the Commission for the different categories. These include general (52), EWS (2), OBC (19), and SC (2). The shortlisted candidates will fill up the remaining posts as per their performance in the Civil Services Mains Exam 2020.

  • Candidates have to first browse the official website of the UPSC, upsc.gov.in.
  • The next step is to select the “Reserve List: Civil Services (Main) Examination 2020”.
  • The system displays a PDF file that has all the names of the selected candidates.
  • The final step is to download a copy and keep a print copy for future reference.
