The Ganeshi Lal Aggarwal (GLA) University is based in Mathura, the state of Uttar Pradesh, and was established in 2010. The GLA University is known to be a private institution, accredited by India’s statutory bodies – including the University Grants Commission and the All India Council for Technical Education. The University’s founder is Shri Narayan Das Agrawal, who named the GLA University after his Late Shri Ganeshi Lal Agrawal. During the year 1991, the Sri Jagannath Prasad Ganeshi Lal Bajaj Charitable Trust Samiti was formed and since then, has sponsored the GLA Group of Institutions, which were integrated to become the GLA University.
