During the year 1993, the Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) was given ‘Deemed to be University’ status. The University’s location is traced to Mullana at Ambala in India’s Haryana state. The MMU’s official website is https://www.mmumullana.org/.
Previously, the MMU was referred to as the Maharishi Markandeshwar Education Trust and has been named after ‘Maharishi Markandeshwar Ji’, who was Lord Shiva’s devotee.
