Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology MGUMST Jaipur

In the year 2000, under the aegis of the India Education Trust (IET), the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College (MGMC) started operations at Jaipur in India’s Rajasthan state, with the view to provide medical treatment, training and research to the country’s residents. Later on, in the year 2012, the MMC was given ‘University’ status and came to be known as the Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology (MGUMST).

In fact, MGMC is recognized to be Rajasthan’s first private Medical College & Hospital; and MGUMST, the state’s first University to impart medical education. The University works towards creating a competent pool of medical professionals for catering to the healthcare needs of the nation. MGUMST’s official website is http://mgumst.org/.

The IET was registered in the year 1999 and is a Public Charitable Trust that emphasizes on improving the health of people by providing quality medical care. Since inception, the Trust has set up several medical centers and research as well as educational institutions to achieve the given objective. Besides, the Society promotes other educational centers that are working towards the improvement of the health of the nation’s people. In all, the Trust takes steps to provide medical care at affordable rates to patients and reduce human misery through the use of advanced medical systems.

Through the University’s various constituent colleges include the Physiotherapy College, Occupational Therapy College, Dental College, Medical College, and Nursing College. At MGUMST, the aspirants can pursue an array of courses at doctoral, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels in the fields of medical and allied sectors.
