by The year of establishment of the GayatriVidyapeeth Postgraduate College (GVPGC) is 1972. Situated in the Bahraich city of the Uttar Pradesh state of India, the GVPGC has been accredited with the grade ‘D’ by the NAAC. Also, the GVPGC has an affiliation with the Ram ManoharLohiaAwadh University in Ayodhya city of UP.
The GVPGC has undergraduate-level and postgraduate-level courses in two disciplines: Arts and Commerce.
The GVPGC has various departments: Education, Economics, English, Medieval History, Sociology, Political Science, Ancient History, Hindi, Home Science, and Sanskrit.
Besides, the GVPGC has the support of an eminent lot of faculty members. They are trained to focus on the all-around personality development of the students.
Courses
Among UG courses, the GVPGC offers the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) pones.
The Master of Commerce (MCom) and Master of Arts (MA) courses are among the postgraduate courses that the GVPGC holds.
As part of the MA course, the students can specialize in a wide variety of subjects. These include Ancient History, Political Science, Sociology, Education, among others.
Campus
Spread over 3 acres of land, the GVPGC campus has a range of academic facilities. Auditoriums, conference halls, indoor stadium, and playgrounds – the College campus provides all these amenities.
Along with that, medical aid centers and computer hubs are among other amenities that the College makes available to the pupils. Additionally, the GVPGC campus houses fitness centers and common rooms. More so, the College campus has a library, well-stocked with books and journals.
In addition, the College contains different cells that monitor the overall well-being of the students. The Grievance Redressal Cell addresses any complaints of the pupils. The Opportunity Cell works to provide good placements to the students.
To highlight the importance of activities alongside academics, the College campus organizes a host of extracurricular and co-curricular events too.
