by Since the year 1960, the Vardhaman College has been conducting academic sessions from Bijnor city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The NAAC has accredited the VC with the ‘B+’ grade. Also, the VC is affiliated with the Mahatma JyotibaPhuleRohilkhand University that is traced to Bareilly in UP. During the initial years, the VC was offering only undergraduate courses in Arts, Education, and Science. However, over the years, the College has been running a variety of UG and PG courses in different disciplines. These include Economics, Geography, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Apart from that, the College offers courses in languages such as Hindi, Sanskrit, and English.
Additionally, at the undergraduate level, the VC offers programs in the fields of Political Science, Education, and Sociology.
Courses
The VC has provisions for undergraduate-level and postgraduate-level courses in the fields of Arts, Commerce, Education, and Science.
Among UG courses, aspiring candidates can apply for Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, and Bachelor of Education programs.
In the list of postgraduate-level programs, the VC has courses such as Master of Commerce, Master of Arts, and Master of Science.
Campus
The VC campus is spread over 13 acres of land and offers a host of infrastructural facilities to the students. The College campus has fully-equipped laboratories and sports centers. In addition, the College has a Central library that is stocked with a variety of books and journals.
Additionally, the VC has a canteen, lecture rooms, and gymnasiums. Medical aid and internet connectivity are among other amenities that are available to the pupils on campus.
Along with that, the College houses NCC and NSS units that provide a host of opportunities to pupils to participate in extra-curricular activities.
