by The Government Degree/Postgraduate College in Khair in Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh was established during the year 1992. The Uttar Pradesh Government founded the College. The College has affiliation with the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University (erstwhile Agra University).
This coeducational public college conducts studies in English and Hindi mediums.
Initially, the college was operating as an Arts Graduate College. However, during the years 2000-01, the college has started holding classes in Master of Arts (MA) in 3 subjects: History, Hindi, and English.
Then, from the academic year 2005-06, the College started accepting applications for the Bachelor of Science (BSc) courses. Later, in the academic session 2008-09, the College started to conduct classes for the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) course. Also, since the academic year 2019-20, the College has been offering academic sessions for the MSc program in subjects such as Maths and Physics.

Among the courses that the college offers are Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Bachelor of Education (BEd).
