The Jai Prakash Postgraduate College (JPPGC) was set up in the year 2004 in the Varanasi city of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The JPPGC was founded by Shri Satyanarayan Prasad in the memory of his son, the Late Jaiprakash Singh, who made great strides in educating the children hailing from the adjoining districts. Also, the JPPGC enjoys affiliation with the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, traceable to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.

At the JPPGC, students can enrol for undergraduate-level and postgraduate-level courses in streams such as Education, Arts, and Commerce.

The JPPGC staff members even organize a host of extracurricular activities to refresh the minds of students during academic breaks. By maintaining a balance between academics and activities, the college facilitates the overall development of the pupils.

Courses
The JPPGC offers a host of courses: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Bachelor of Education (BEd).

The eligibility norms of the BEd program require the aspirants to secure a graduation degree from a recognized board or university.

Amenities
The JPPGC campus, equipped with infrastructural resources, spans over 3 acres of land. The various facilities that the college offers on campus to the students include a computer center, an auditorium, and a playground. Moreover, the college library has a wide collection of books for the students’ reference. In addition, the college has various sports facilities to encourage the students to partake in different sports for their social and physical development. Moreover, the college recognizes and promotes the interests of pupils for developing their all-round personalities.
