Sanjay Memorial Women’s College, Varanasi: Courses, Admission and Exam Result

Sanjay Memorial Women’s College (SMWC) was set up in the Varanasi city of India’s Uttar Pradesh state in the year 2005. The SMWC is a self-financed institution that was started to empower women hailing from the neighboring district academically. Also, the SMWC has affiliation to the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. More so, the Foundation for the Women’s Education looks after the operations at the college.

The SMWC has provisions for undergraduate-level courses in 2 streams: Arts and Science.

Courses
At the SMWC, students can pursue the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs.
The eligibility criteria for both these college courses require the aspirant to clear the Class 10+2 examination from a recognized educational board.

Amenities
The SMWC campus offers a host of facilities to facilitate the overall development of the pupils. Some facilities that the campus provides on campus include fully-furnished and ventilated classrooms. Additionally, students have a playground on campus where they can engage in a variety of sports.

Moreover, the college campus has fully-equipped laboratories for Science subjects such as Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany. Along with that, there are laboratories for Psychology and Home Science subjects.

In addition to that, the college offers computer centers where pupils receive training on computer applications. Even the SMWC campus houses a well-equipped library, containing a large number of books, magazines, and journals.

Other than that, the campus has conference rooms, seminar halls, among other infrastructure. The college also provide transportation facilities to make travel easy for the students.
