Sarnath Bodhisattva Mahavidyalaya Varanasi: Courses, Admission and Exam Result

The Sarnath Bodhisattva Mahavidyalaya (SBMV) was set up in the year 2009 in the holy city of Varanasi, which is part of India’s Uttar Pradesh state. In addition, the SMBV has affiliation to the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith that is based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

The SBMV has provisions for UG and PG courses in two streams; Arts and Commerce. Also, the different departments of the SBMV include Political Science, English, Sanskrit, Hindi, History, Social Studies, among others.

More so, one of the main goals of the college is to imbibe a sense of fraternity among the students and propel them to become responsible citizens of the country.

In addition to that, alongside academics, the students are encouraged to partake in a host of games, sports, and events – all for their holistic development.

Courses
The SBMV accepts applications for admitting students in its various courses. These include Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Master of Arts (MA), and Master of Commerce (MCom).

Moreover, the MA program offers specializations in subjects such as Hindi and Sociology.

To be eligible for the MCom course that the SBMV offers, the aspiring candidates have to secure a graduate degree in any relevant discipline from a recognized university or board.

Amenities
The SBMV campus extends to over 4 acres of land and it has been built with modern infrastructure. Among facilities that the college offers, the students can access the library, having a variety of books and other educational aids. Other than that, the college campus has laboratories and sports grounds.
