DVET Maharashtra Admit Card 2024

The governing body that conducts the admission process in the various Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the Indian state of Maharashtra is the Directorate of Vocational Education & Training, Maharashtra (DVETM).

In Maharashtra, the different trades for which technical knowledge is provided during the ITI courses include electrician, machinist, Instrument mechanic, turner, fitter, tool & die maker, plastic processing operator – to list a few.

The candidates have to clear the entrance exam as part of the admission process in the various ITI centres. The first step is to fill out the online application form that is available on the official website www.dvet.gov.in. Additionally, the application fee has to be paid via the listed modes of payment. After submitting the application, a printout of the application form should be taken for reference purposes.

The ITI authorities will prepare the list of candidates who are eligible to take the exam; the details of the same will be posted on the official website. Also, the admit cards are downloadable a few days before the date of the examination. The candidates have to carry a copy of the admit cards for the examining authorities to verify their identification.

Thereafter, the merit list that contains the names of the successful candidates is released, following which they have to appear for the counselling sessions as per the schedule. During the counselling rounds, the original documents of the applicants are verified. Subsequently, the final merit list that contains the names of the candidates and respective ITI centres (where they have gained admission) is released. The candidates are issued allotment letters that have to be shown at the colleges to complete the admission process. After paying the tuition fees, they can start their course.
