Telangana ITI Admit Card

The Department of Employment and Training (DET), the Telangana government, is the body that manages the admission process of the Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) in the state. The relevant details pertaining to the online admissions are posted on the official website, www.iti.telangana.gov.in/index.php.

The ITIs have centres throughout India. These educational hubs impart technical training in a series of engineering and non-engineering trades. However, the several ITI courses vary in eligibility criteria. Prior to applying, the candidates must read the eligibility norms and apply accordingly.

The aspirants should have passed their 10th standard from recognized school boards to be eligible. However, those candidates who have passed their 8th standard can apply for some ITI courses as well. Also, the aspirants must comply with the age eligibility criteria and also, should be permanent residents of Telangana.

As part of the online application process, the applicants have to fill out the online application form. Also, the application fee has to be paid. Moreover, the candidates have to fill in their options with respect to ITI centres and trades while filling in the online application form.

After completing the required formalities, the application form has to be submitted online. After the ITI authorities have received all the applications, post the deadline, they will screen the candidates’ applications and prepare the merit list.

In the meanwhile, the candidates are, also, required to visit the stipulated ITI centres for the verification process. They must carry their original documents and a printed copy of the online application form for the ITI board to verify their authenticity.

All the details concerning the admission procedure will be displayed on the website. Thus, the candidates must refer to the website periodically to remain updated on the latest notifications.

Moreover, the candidates’ names along with their allotted colleges will be displayed on the site. Thereafter, on the mentioned dates, they have to visit the respective ITI centres and complete the rest of the admission paperwork. After doing the needful, they are enrolled as students and can attend the classes.
