Centurion University of Technology and Management Andhra Pradesh Exam Result 2023

The Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) is recognized as a multi-sector privately-owned state university and is situated in the Indian state of Odisha. During the year 2005, a team of professors established the Centurion group of industries after taking over the poorly-performing Jagannath Institute for Technology and Management (JITM) to transform into a University. The enterprising academicians were Prof. D. K. Mishra, Prof. D. N. Rao, and Prof. Mukti K. Mishra.

Then, as per legislation in the Odisha Legislative Assembly, during the year 2010, CUTM was given State Private University status. Now, the university has been conferred with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) ‘A’ Grade.

At present, the main campus and headquarters of CUTM are based at Parlakhemundi, Gajapati, Odisha. Another constituent university campus is located at Jatni, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. Also, the University has other regional campuses in Odisha at Chhatrapur, Rayagada, and Balangir.

At CUTM, the aspirants can complete undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines such as mining, architecture, agriculture, health sciences – amongst others. Also, vocational courses are held at CUPM’s Odisha-based campuses.

In February 2017, the Vice-Chancellor of CUTM, Prof. Raju, announced the university’s expansion plans to the state of Andhra Pradesh. He said that 2 temporary campuses would be instituted at Gajapatinagaram in Vizianagaram and Anandapuram in Visakhapatnam. Apparently, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by both states at the CII-Partnership Summit that was held during January 2017.

During the initial stages, CUTM will commence operations from rented premises at Anandapuram, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Subsequently, the University will conduct courses from Gajapatinagaram, Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has allocated 160 acres of land to CUTM; and another 40 acres will be purchased by the University. Also, the investment for developing CUTM’s campuses in Andhra Pradesh will be to the tune of 130 crores.

In Andhra Pradesh, there are plans of building a fully-equipped campus, including accommodation arrangements. During the initial years, the CUTM campuses at Andhra Pradesh will conduct B.Tech and M.Tech courses.
