The Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) that is traced to Sitapur Road in Lucknow city of India’s Uttar Pradesh state, started operations in the year 2001 after the State Government passed the necessary sanctions. The MUIT’s founder is Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji who served as the center’s First Chancellor as well.
