LLB Admission 2025: Entrance Exam, Dates, Eligibility, Application, Selection

The Bachelor of Law (LLB) is an undergraduate-level program designed for aspiring lawyers. There are two options when you want to pursue the LLB course. These include the 3-year and the 5-year integrated course options. The eligibility norms for both these 2 LLB options vary.

As far as the 3-year LLB course is concerned, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized board with 40% to 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply. For the 5-year integrated course option, applicants who qualify the Class 12 from a recognized educational board are invited to apply.

Where LLB admissions in India are concerned, some colleges admit students based on their academic performance in the qualifying exams while othersalso consider the applicants’ scores in the entrance exams.

Various entrance exams are held in India to admit students into the LLB courses. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted by the National Law Universities (NLUs) at the national level to admit students into undergraduate-level and postgraduate-level law courses. Also, the National Law Universities (NLUs) hold the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission into its undergraduate and postgraduate law programs.

Among other state-level and university-level entrance exams conducted for admission into law courses are TS LAWCET and SET SLAT.
