The Master of Law (LLM) course is open for candidates who graduate in the field of law. After completing the 3-year LLB program or the integrated 5-year Bachelor of Law (LLB) course, law graduates are eligible to apply to the LLM program. The National Law Universities (NLUs) and other government-run and privately-owned law institutes have provisions for the LLM course.

The eligibility norms of the LLM program include holding an LLM degree from BCI-recognized universities with minimum 55% aggregate marks.   • Review Eligibility Criteria: Check the eligibility of the LLM courses and apply only if you meet the given eligibility criteria. Applicants should secure the LLB degree with at least 55% aggregate scores from a recognized education board to be eligible to apply.
  • Entrance Exam Application & Preparation: Go on to apply for the relevant entrance test recognized by your preferred law institute. You are required to download the online application form from the official website and fill in the mandatory fields. Plus, you have to upload the list of compulsory documents before submitting your application.
  • Attempt the Entrance Test: The college authorities will release the exam dates and venue details of the entrance test. You should reach the exam center in advance with all the requisite documents, which include your admit card and identification proof.
  • Merit List Declaration:The examiners will declare the dates on which the Merit List will be released. If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to attend the counseling rounds.
  • Counseling and Seat Allotment: The exam authorities will verify the candidates’ documents during the counseling sessions. Based on their overall performance, the aspirants will be allottedseats in law colleges and universities.
  • Comply with Admission Requirements: Finally, you have to visit the law college/university where you have secured a seat and complete the admission formalities.
