The Mahadev Postgraduate College (MPGC) that operates from the Varanasi city of the Indian Uttar Pradesh state was set up in the year 2002. The MPGC enjoys affiliation with the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi.

At the MPGC, students can pursue a host of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different fields. These include Arts / Humanities, Education, Science, Information Technology, and Commerce.

Courses
Among courses that the MPGC hosts include Master of Arts (MA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Bachelor of Education (BEd), and Master of Commerce.

Also, the MPGC offers a range of specializations under the MA program. These include Social Work, Sociology, Physical Education, Home Science, Psychology, Education, Hindi, Economics, Political Science, among others.
Moreover, the BFA course is a 3-year, full-time, undergraduate program. Any applicant who has cleared the Higher Secondary / Intermediate exam (or any other equivalent exam) is eligible to apply for this course.

Amenities
The campus size of the MPGC is spread over 5 acres of land and has a range of facilities to aid the students’ holistic development. The college provides a gym and sports grounds on campus for recreational purposes. In addition, the MPGC campus houses a library that is well-stocked with books, magazines, and other reference material. Health care facilities and Wi-Fi connectivity are among other facilities that are available to the pupils on the college campus. The college campus also has laboratories, auditoriums, and a cafeteria. Even the college offers shuttle service on campus.
