Raja Bhoj Govt. College Katangi, Balaghat

The year 1989 marks the establishment of the Raja Bhoj Government College (RBGC). This premier college is traced to Katangi in the Balaghat district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The Department of Higher Education which works under the Government of Madhya Pradesh established the RBGC. The college was started to cater to the higher educational needs of people hailing from the rural districts of Balaghat. Also, the RBGC is affiliated to both the Rani Durgawati University in Jabalpur and Chhindwara University in Chhindwara.

At the RBGC, students pursue undergraduate programs in the three main fields of higher education: Commerce, Arts, and Science. Additionally, the college offers postgraduate-level programs in the streams of Arts and Science.

The college staff members strive to maintain a healthy balance between academic studies and sports to propel the all-round development of the pupils.

Courses
The RBGC conducts undergraduate courses such as the Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Arts (BA), and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) programs.

At the postgraduate level, the RBGC offers postgraduate-level programs including the Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (MSc) ones.

Aspirants can choose between various specializations under the BA, BSc, and MSc courses.

Amenities
The RBGC campus, having a host of infrastructural and learning facilities, is spread over 10 acres of land. Seminar halls and well-equipped classrooms are among the amenities on the college campus. Furthermore, the college library contains books and magazines for reference purposes. Among other facilities that the college has on campus are fully-equipped laboratories and classrooms. In addition, the college has provisions for indoor and outdoor games to encourage the students’ participation in sports.
