by The Mata Sundri College for Women (MSCW) started operating from the year 1967 onwards. MSCW was set up by the Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee of Delhi and bears affiliation to the University of Delhi. The MSCW was built in honor of Mata Sundriji who was the wife of Guru Gobind Singhji; he is the tenth guru of the Sikhs. Offering value-added education to women, the MSCW has come to achieve excellence in higher education. Also, with the steadfast support of distinguished faculty members, the College provides a conducive learning atmosphere for the young minds.
Moreover, the College accepts applications in 11 Major Disciplines. These include Sanskrit, Psychological Sciences, Punjabi, Political Science, Mathematics, Commerce, Philosophy, History, Hindi, Punjabi, and Political Science.
As part of the teaching methodology of the MSCW, in addition to classroom sessions, the students get opportunities in fieldwork, project work, and various other activities. As such, the College focuses on developing the students in a holistic manner.
Courses
From undergraduate to postgraduate levels, the College has courses. At MSCW, aspirants can apply for courses in different fields such as Sciences, Commerce, and Humanities. Also, the College is one of the few colleges under the DU that conducts the Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) course.
More so, the College holds a range of skill development programs. These include in areas of Travel & Tourism, Foreign Languages, Textile Designing, and Computer Applications.

The MSCW has a campus that spans 6 acres of land. Moreover, an array of facilities can be availed by the College students.
The College has a library that is equipped with a host of educational resources. Books, periodicals, journals, magazines, and various other titles have been made available to the students.
Other than that, the College has provisions for medical care, cafeteria, multipurpose hall, computer laboratories, auditoriums, among others.
