Sri Ram Murti Gupta Govt. P.G. College Chharra, Aligarh

Set up by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the year 1999, the Shri Ram Murti Gupta Government Postgraduate College (SRMGGC) is located at Charra Rafatpur, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. The SRMGGC is affiliated to the BR Ambedkar University that is traceable to Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The official website of the SRMGGC is https://govtpgcollegechharra.com/.

From the first academic year of the College in 1999-2000 onwards, the College has been conducting undergraduate courses in different disciplines. These include Physical Education, Political Science, Home Science, Economics, Sociology, History, English, and Hindi.

Also, since the 2006-07 academic session, the College has been holding BSc courses in Biology and Maths.

Now, having the support of eminent academicians, the SRMGGPGC offers both undergraduate courses and postgraduate programs in the fields of Arts, Social Sciences, and Science. 

The College offers postgraduate courses in various disciplines. These include Hindi, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, History, and English.

More so, the College faculty members are trained to develop the moral and spiritual character of the students.

Alongside studies, the College also encourages the pupils to take part in sports and extracurricular activities for their holistic development.

The SRMGGPGC aims to develop a pool of professionals by providing value-added education. More so, the students are trained to think innovatively, so they can contribute handsomely to the nation-building process.

Courses

The SRMGGPGC has provisions for 3-year undergraduate courses such as Bachelor of Arts (BA), and Bachelor of Science (BSc). 

Plus, the College offers 2-year postgraduate courses – including the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in fields including Political Science, English, and Economics.

Campus

To develop the all-round personality of the pupils, the SRMGGC offers a variety of infrastructural facilities. The College library is equipped with books and various other educational resources. More so, the College has laboratories that are well-equipped with advanced instruments.
