JEECUP Application Form 2026 (Out) – Apply Online

The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh conducts the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (UPJEE Polytechnic), commonly known as JEECUP. The examination is conducted for admission to diploma-level polytechnic courses offered by government and private institutions across Uttar Pradesh.

The JEECUP 2026 application process started on January 15, 2026. The last date to submit the online application form was extended to May 20, 2026. The examination was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 2 to June 9, 2026. The JEECUP 2026 result was declared on June 19, 2026 in the form of a rank card.

JEECUP 2026: Round 6 Counselling, Seat Allotment, Dates, Cutoff, Admission Process

The JEECUP 2026 counselling process is currently underway. As per the latest update available on the official JEECUP website, Round 6 choice filling is being conducted from August 21 to August 23, 2026. The Round 6 seat allotment result is scheduled to be released on August 24, 2026.

The latest counselling schedule published by JEECUP includes additional rounds for qualified candidates from Uttar Pradesh and other states. Candidates should regularly check the official portal for any changes or additional counselling notices.

JEECUP Eligibility Criteria

For JEECUP 2026, the candidate must have attained at least 14 years of age. There is no upper age limit for appearing in the examination.

Academic Qualification:

The academic qualification varies according to the group and diploma course selected by the candidate. Candidates should check the official UPJEE 2026 Information Brochure for the exact group-wise eligibility requirements before applying.

Diploma in Engineering and Technology: Candidates generally need to have passed or be appearing in Class 10 with the prescribed minimum percentage and required subjects as specified for the respective group/course.

Diploma in Agriculture Engineering: Candidates must meet the prescribed Class 10 or Class 12 qualification and subject requirements for the Agriculture-related group.

Diploma in Pharmacy: Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification and subject requirements, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology, as applicable to the course.

Hotel Management and Catering Technology: Candidates must meet the prescribed Class 12 qualification and minimum marks requirements for the relevant programme.

JEECUP Application Form

The JEECUP 2026 online application process started on January 15, 2026. The last date to submit the application form was extended to May 20, 2026. Candidates were required to register on the official website and provide basic information such as their name, mobile number and email address.

After registration, candidates had to log in to their accounts and complete the application form. They were required to enter their personal, academic and communication details and upload the required photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

The application fee for General and OBC candidates was INR 300, while SC/ST candidates were required to pay INR 200. The fee could be paid through the available online payment methods.

After successfully submitting the application form, candidates were advised to download and keep a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

JEECUP Exam Pattern

The JEECUP 2026 examination was conducted in online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination consisted of 100 objective-type questions and the duration of the examination was 3 hours.

Each correct answer carries 4 marks. One mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks are deducted for unanswered questions. The examination is conducted in Hindi and English, depending on the applicable group and examination requirements.

JEECUP Admit Card

The JEECUP 2026 admit card was released on May 27, 2026. Registered candidates could download their admit cards from the official JEECUP website using their login credentials.

Candidates were required to carry their admit card and a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre. Candidates should also check the admit card carefully and contact the examination authorities if they find any discrepancy.

JEECUP Result and Merit List

The JEECUP 2026 result was declared on June 19, 2026. The result was made available online in the form of a rank card/scorecard on the official website.

Candidates can download their JEECUP rank card using their application number and password. The rank card contains important details such as marks obtained, rank, category and counselling eligibility. The JEECUP rank is used during the counselling and seat allotment process.

JEECUP Cutoff

After the declaration of the JEECUP result, the authorities conduct counselling and seat allotment for eligible candidates. The cutoff is generally represented through opening and closing ranks and varies according to the institute, course, category, candidate preferences and availability of seats.

JEECUP Counseling 2026

The JEECUP 2026 counselling process started in June 2026. The first round of counselling included choice filling from June 25 to June 30, followed by seat allotment on July 1, 2026.

Multiple counselling rounds have been conducted for qualified candidates. As of August 23, 2026, Round 6 choice filling is underway from August 21 to August 23, with seat allotment scheduled for August 24, 2026.

For Round 6, candidates who are allotted seats can complete the online fee payment from August 25 to August 28, 2026, while document verification at district help centres is scheduled from August 25 to August 29, 2026.

The next special Round 7 is scheduled for choice filling from August 31 to September 2, 2026, followed by seat allotment on September 3, 2026. The last date for reporting at allotted institutes is September 10, 2026.
