Uttarakhand JEEP 2024 Exam: Admission, Dates, Merit List, Eligibility

The Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee (UBTER) is the governing body of technical education in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The body conducts the state-level Uttarakhand JEEP exam. Uttarakhand JEEP Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: There is no specified age limit.

Physically Fit: Physical fitness is mandatory.

The eligibility criteria for the different diploma programs are studied below.

  ✓ Group E (Diploma in Engineering and Technology): Must clear 10th standard exams, with subjects such as Science and Mathematics, and minimum 35% aggregate marks.

  ✓ Group P (Diploma in Pharmacy): Has to pass 12th standard exam or intermediate ones, having subjects such as Mathematics/Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

  ✓ Group H (Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology): Should pass 12th standard examination or equivalent, having English as a compulsory subject, and minimum 35% aggregate marks.

  ✓ Group M (Modern Office of Management Secretarial Practice): Should clear 12th or intermediate examination, having subjects such as Hindi and English in either 10th or 12th standard.

  ✓ Group G (PG Diploma in Computer Applications): Should have a graduation degree.

  ✓ Group T (Textile Design/ Garment Technology/ Fashion Design): Female candidates who have passed their 10th standard exam, or equivalent, while scoring 35% aggregate marks are eligible.

  ✓ Group A (Lateral Entry in Diploma Engineering): Must clear 12th standard exams with subjects such as Physics, Maths, and Chemistry. Also, if they have passed their 12th standard examination in vocation stream or have 2-year ITI certificate, then they can apply.

Uttarakhand JEEP Application Form

Through the months of January to March, the applicants can apply for the entrance exam. For the same, they should visit the official website to register, following which they get their login credentials. Then, they have to sign into their respective accounts for downloading the online application form.

Thereafter, they should fill in the required fields in the form. They must, also, upload scanned copies of their signature and photograph in the specified format. The next step is to pay the application fee, after which they should submit their application.

Uttarakhand JEEP Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted in offline mode, having a duration of 3 hours. The candidates are given 100 questions that are objective-type ones. For every correct answer, the applicant scores 1 mark. There are no negative marks for the incorrect ones. According to the course that the applicant is applying to, the subjects vary.

Uttarakhand JEEP Admit Card

On the official website, the authorities upload the candidates’ admit cards. They can download their respective admit cards 2 weeks prior to the exam. They must log in to their accounts for accessing, and downloading the admit cards. More so, they should take a printout. On the day of the exam, they should bring along the admit cards for the examining authorities to verify their identity.

Uttarakhand JEEP Result

The candidates who have appeared for the entrance examination can check their result on the official website after 3 weeks from the examination date. The authorities display the results on the official website. The applicant has to enter some basic information for accessing their results.

Moreover, the authorities prepare a Merit List on the basis of the applicants’ scores in the entrance exam. The selected candidates are, then, considered for the counseling rounds.

As per the Merit List, the counseling sessions are scheduled. During counseling, the candidates have to give their choices of colleges and courses.
